Public Festival
For 10 years, The Virginia Horse Festival operated as a small festival
attracting 5,000 local attendees from the equine industry. The Bridge
Group was brought on to increase the production value of the Festival,
expand the attendee base and elevate the overall perception of the festival
to compete with several successful competitor shows being staged across
the country. The Bridge Group was responsible for the program content,
sales and marketing of the event, as well as the sale of vendor spaces.
The Bridge Group increased the number of vendors by 300%, increased
attendance by 300% - drawing attendees from throughout the United States
- and elevated the production value by producing a Rodeo, Draft Horse
Pull, staging multiple performances and clinics in five arenas throughout
the property using nationally recognized clinicians and acts, and orchestrating
a series of 35 breed demonstrations.
